Jeff Skoll makes movies that matter

In 2004, Jeffrey Skoll, Ebay’s first president, founded Participant Media, a film and television production company that produces feature films and documentaries that promote social values, such as “An Inconvenient Truth”, “Syriana”, “Good Night and Good Luck”, and the more recent “Oceans”, among others.

I’ve found a captivating TED Talk with Skoll, where he talks about Participant Media (formerly Participant Productions), and what inspired him to create the company.
