Better safe than sorry

When producing a movie/tv programme, it is easy to get so busy on the production that some elements can be disregarded. Aware of the importance of Health & Safety guidelines, I decided to take a course on risk management issues involved in television production work. The name of the course is Risk Management for Productions (Parts 1 & 2). Each part lasts 3.5h and costs 70 GBP. I took the course at the BBC Academy in Birmingham on Friday 18th June (this 1-day course runs several times a month in various venues). I can say it was very useful, and recommend it to all production staff. Better safe than sorry!
